We are now accepting staff applications! Follow the instructions below to apply!
Levels of positions available: Instructor, Associate Instructor, Intern
For Instructor positions please only apply if you are a CT, FD, or FM (or equivalent).
Associate Instructors- Assist in classes, and possible teaching opportunity. If applying to AI, give us a couple sample classes, as listed in the teacher application. You will be part of our Associate Instructor program if selected. Please contact us if you would like more details as to what this entails.
Interns- Run armory, airport pick-ups, pair-in in uneven classes, take weapons to their spaces, etc.
Applications due by Feb. 10th, 11:59pm.
Staff Applications- What we need:
1. First, let us know whether you will be applying to be a Teacher, Teacher's Assistant, or Intern. For all positions, please send your stage/ film combat resume and a short message of why you'd like to work at the A-Town Throw Down to atownworkshop@gmail.com
2. If applying for a teaching position, send us a minimum of 4 class suggestions. This should only be the title of the class and a ONE sentence description. Give us an idea of what you would be interested in teaching at this year's workshop.
3. If applying to be an Associate Instructor or Intern, please make sure your resume reflects what weapons you are trained in and currently up to date on. If you can't decide between AI or Intern, you only need to apply once, but let us know that you are applying for both positions. You can only be selected for one if hired.
4. The A-Town Throw Down will be May 26th-28th, but staff will be there from 7:00pm on the 25th until the evening of the 28th or the morning of the 29th, depending on travel arrangements.
5. Cars are not required but if you could let us know if you have access to a car that would be great. Also let us know if you would be driving or flying to the workshop, and where from. Or if you are local.
To be considered for a staff position, please send materials to us at atownworkshop@gmail.com
Once again, applications due by Feb. 10th, 11:59pm.
